She's a wonderful narrator and has a story that inspires me to just keep doing my thing even if I have big dreams that most people think are a little unrealistic and am a little neurotic at times.

My coworker has been reading this book for several months now, off and on, and keeps mentioning different passages to me. It is a book that somehow escaped me through my studies, even though I tried to focus on writings by women of color who are politically inclined. 6 Things Keeping Me Going Through Winter

I thought I'd take a break from the book reviews and author shout-outs to just post something fun. Winter in Western Washington isn't terrible. We don't get monolithic snow storms or below freezing temperatures, but we do get lots of gray days, occasional snow, and lots of rain.
